Shops and cafés are within 300 metres, and the riverfront promenade is a short walk. Several restaurants, including an Italian pizzeria, are within a few minutes' walk. The Chartrons area is known for its antique shops and lively Rue Notre Dame.

All units include a kitchenette with microwave, stove, and refrigerator, plus a flat-screen TV and desk. Bathrooms have bathtubs with shower handles; no separate shower cabins are available. Beds tend to be very firm, which may not suit all sleepers. Rooms are functional but some show wear, with dated furniture and occasional cleanliness issues. Duplex apartments have steep stairs to the upper bedroom - careful with mobility. Noise from corridors can be noticeable due to external walkways. Air conditioning works well, though some units emit a musty smell. There are no balconies or bedside tables in many rooms. Inspect bedding on arrival for any concerns.
