BOUTIQUE HOTEL LE CLOS HUGUERIE - BORDEAUX CENTRE, Bordeaux

Classic rooms (1-2 people) offer a double or twin bed, private bathroom, and a choice of ground-floor or upper-floor locations for quiet. Superior Cabane rooms include a small private terrace overlooking the garden, while Superior Elegance rooms provide a king-size bed and a balcony with city views. Standard rooms are compact-some with limited natural light and very small bathrooms-so the spacious Superior categories are better for longer stays or guests wanting more comfort. All rooms include air conditioning, soundproof walls, a flat-screen TV with streaming services (Netflix, Canal+), free Wi-Fi, a safe, and a hairdryer. The dated parquet flooring in some rooms can be creaky, and walls are not fully soundproofed; rooms on quiet street side or garden views minimise noise.

Breakfast (18 EUR per person) is a continental buffet with fresh bread, pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, fresh fruit, and quality jams, plus hot items and local organic products. It is served in the cozy breakfast room or on the garden terrace, where guests can enjoy a calm start. The hotel has no restaurant or dinner service, but the bar and snack bar offer wine, champagne, and charcuterie boards on the patio. For evening meals, dozens of restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, including French, Italian, and Asian options. Guests with gluten intolerance should confirm specific options ahead.

The hotel's main leisure feature is a sunny, plant-filled courtyard terrace with sun umbrellas and outdoor furniture, offering a peaceful space to enjoy a drink, read, or unwind. There is no swimming pool, spa, gym, or wellness centre. Board games are available for quieter entertainment. The property's quiet atmosphere and garden setting compensate for the absence of larger leisure facilities. Nearby attractions include the Jardin Public park, the Garonne riverbanks, and the historic city centre.

Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout. The hotel offers express check-in/check-out, private check-in, and a concierge service for recommendations and bookings. Luggage storage is free for early arrivals or late departures. Daily housekeeping is included. Safety features include 24-hour security, CCTV, smoke alarms, and a safe deposit box. Accessibility includes an emergency cord in the bathroom, lower sink, raised toilet, grab rails, and wheelchair access. The hotel also provides car hire and public transport tickets at an additional charge. An invoice is provided for all stays.
