Located on Grays Inn Road, the hostel is just 100 metres from the Kings Cross St. Pancras tube and train station, giving direct access to the Piccadilly, Victoria, Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City lines. Heathrow Airport is about 50 minutes away by tube (£4), while Gatwick and Luton airports are reachable via direct trains from St Pancras. The area is filled with restaurants, pubs, a supermarket next door, and a 24-hour garage for parking. Camden's theatres and shopping are 2 km away. The immediate streets are busy, so rooms away from the road are quieter.

All accommodation uses shared bathrooms on each floor. Dorms range from 4-bed to 18-bed configurations, including female-only dorms with separate toilets and showers. Each bed has a locker (bring your own padlock), a reading light, and USB/plug charging. Private rooms have a twin bunk bed and shared bathroom. Rooms are small - lower bunks can be too low to sit upright for taller people. Windows often open only a few centimetres, and some rooms (especially conservatory-style with glass roofs) can become very hot in summer, with limited ventilation. Street noise can be an issue. Pod-style beds in some dorms offer more privacy but also get warm. Bed linen is provided; towels must be rented. No balconies or private bathrooms exist.

Breakfast is a continental buffet with bread, pastries, cereal, and hot drinks; selection is basic but reasonable for the price. The hostel does not have a restaurant or bar, but the well-equipped self-catering kitchen is open from 12:00 to 00:00 with pots, pans, cutlery, fridges, and cupboards. Numerous restaurants, cafés, and takeaways are within a 5-minute walk, including burgers, pizza, Indian, and kebab options. A supermarket is located next door for groceries. Coffee and snacks can be purchased from the vending machine at reception.
