COLECTIA STAYS GRAN VIA, Madrid

Situated in the heart of Madrid, this property places you on the main shopping and entertainment artery. Gran Via Metro station is a 2-minute walk, providing direct access to the airport and wider city. The Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum is less than 1 km away, Prado Museum a 13-minute walk, and Plaza Mayor under 1 km. Mercado San Miguel is a 12-minute walk, and Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 12 km. Numerous restaurants and shops are immediately accessible on Gran Vía, making a car unnecessary for exploring central Madrid. The area remains practical for walking, with a lift available for luggage.

All rooms feature air conditioning, soundproof walls, parquet floors, a wardrobe, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and hairdryer. Rooms with a city view are available, while rooms facing the inner courtyard offer quieter conditions. The property is designed for solo travellers or couples; rooms are practical and comfortably sized for two people. Despite the central location, soundproofing and a quiet internal atmosphere have been prioritised, making road-facing rooms less likely to cause disturbance. The minimalist, functional style includes a desk area and high-quality towels.

There is no restaurant or breakfast meal included. A self-service coffee, tea, and water station is provided in the lobby during reception opening hours (10:00-18:00), along with occasional sweet treats. Given the property's location directly on Gran Vía, numerous restaurants, cafés, and tapas bars are within a 2-3 minute walk, including Steakburger Gran Via and Celicioso Hortaleza at 0.5 km. The guest house's location means dining options are immediate and varied for all meal times.

The property does not include a gym, pool, spa, or other leisure amenities. Its main leisure offering is direct access to central Madrid's cultural attractions - Prado Museum, Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, Plaza Mayor, and Mercado San Miguel are all within a short walk. For those wanting to explore, the metro station at Gran Vía connects to all city districts. The tour desk can help plan sightseeing and arrange taxi bookings to the airport.

WiFi is free throughout the property. Luggage storage is available via secure lockers on both check-in and check-out days, allowing hands-free exploration. A lift provides access to all floors. The reception is open from 10:00 to 18:00 and offers concierge service, tour desk assistance, and help with booking airport taxis. Outside these hours, entry is managed via a secure keyless code system. Invoice is provided by email. The property has CCTV in common areas, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. No parking is available, and pets are not permitted.
