COMFORT INN MEMPHIS AIRPORT WEST, Memphis

The hotel is situated in a less central area of Memphis, with several major attractions a short drive away. Graceland is 4 km away, Beale Street is 16 km, the Civil Rights Museum is 12 km, and the Landers Center is about 18 km south. The area has limited walkable dining and shopping options; a car is necessary for most errands. The neighborhood is considered a high-crime area, so the gated parking lot and locked entrances are essential safety features. Many travellers prefer to use ride-shares or taxis for trips to Graceland and downtown, and the hotel's proximity to the airport makes it practical for early departures.

The property offers double rooms, family rooms, and suites. All rooms include a flat-screen TV (cable reception can be inconsistent), a microwave, a refrigerator, and a tea/coffee maker. The rooms are traditionally furnished and have been described as spacious by some, but many report the property shows signs of age: stained carpets, worn fixtures, and musty odours. Air conditioning units and heaters are often noted as being very loud. The property is a non-smoking establishment, though some areas may have residual smoke smell. The overall accommodation is basic and more suitable for travellers prioritizing location and value over modern decor.

The hotel provides a free continental breakfast which includes hot items such as scrambled eggs and sausage, along with waffles, cereals, and beverages. The quality and availability of breakfast items have been reported as inconsistent; some mornings the hot food is fully stocked and fresh, while on others items run out or are not replenished in time. The breakfast service starts at 6:00 AM on weekdays and 7:00 AM on weekends. Since there is no restaurant on site, guests needing a full meal can find several fast food and casual dining options along the nearby interstate, within a short drive.

The property has a fitness centre available for all guests, free of charge. There is no pool, spa, hot tub, or other leisure facilities on site. For relaxation, the surrounding area offers parks and attractions such as Graceland, but leisure activities are generally found off property.
