Commun Shibuya is located just 500 meters from the Hachiko Statue and the iconic Shibuya Scramble, placing you right in the heart of Tokyo's busiest entertainment and shopping district. Shibuya Station, serving the Yamanote, Ginza, and other major lines, is a 5-10 minute walk. Haneda Airport is 13 km away, accessible by train with a single transfer at Shinagawa, though there is no direct bus from the airport. Nearby restaurants such as Wa Yuzuka and Hakushu are within a 5-minute walk, and convenience stores are just around the corner. The route from the station involves a slight uphill slope with no elevator, so some advance planning is needed for heavy luggage. The immediate street is quiet, but the central action is only minutes on foot.

All capsules are individual sleeping units measuring 100 cm x 192 cm. Each unit features air conditioning (though control is shared and the temperature cannot be adjusted from inside the capsule), a flat-screen TV, a personal safe, and power outlets including USB-C. The capsule is enclosed by a curtain rather than a door, so noise from other capsules and nearby doors can carry, particularly in the morning. The Premium Capsule offers enough internal floor space to open a small suitcase, while standard capsules are tighter. Capsules on the 3rd floor are adjacent to the smoking area, separated only by a thin glass wall, making them more susceptible to noise and smoke smell. There is no common room or lounge area, and luggage cannot be stored inside the capsule; lockers for small items and a separate luggage room for larger bags are provided in a cramped space with no elevator access.

There is no wellness or leisure facility on site. No spa, swimming pool, or fitness center is available. A designated smoking area is provided on the top floor. For relaxation, guests typically spend their time in the Shibuya area itself, which offers endless shopping, nightlife, and cultural attractions within walking distance.
