COPPER VINE WINE PUB & INN, New Orleans

Copper Vine sits in a prime spot between the French Quarter, the Arts District on Julia and Magazine Streets, and the Central Business District. The property is about 1 km from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and Smoothie King Center, making it a convenient base for event-goers. Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is 20 km away; streetcars and buses are a few minutes' walk. The immediate block offers several dining options, including Juan's Flying Burrito and Johnny Sanchez. The area is quieter than the tourist core but still within easy walking distance of Bourbon Street and the WW2 Museum.

Accommodations include standard double rooms (with one or two beds) and bi-level suites with private patios and additional living space. All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a minibar, tea and coffee maker, wardrobe, safe, umbrella, and bathrobes. The private bathrooms are stocked with free toiletries, including Le Labo Hinoki amenities. Some double rooms offer a bath and shower; others have a walk-in rain shower. The suites add a fridge, microwave, and a separate living area. A second-floor common area provides a living room with free coffee and drinks.

Copper Vine's restaurant is open daily (Mon-Thu 11:00-21:00, Fri-Sat until 22:00, Sun from 10:30) and serves American cuisine with standout dishes like tuna tartare and corn-crab bisque. The bar offers a wine list including a house-made pinot grigio and creative cocktails. A complimentary American breakfast is served each morning on the second-floor veranda, featuring pastries, eggs, bacon, fruit, coffee, and juice. The restaurant also provides room service. Surrounded by several casual dining spots within a 0.5 km radius, guests have a range of meal options without leaving the block.

Wellness and leisure are centred on the property's integrated entertainment: guests can move from dinner at Copper Vine to dancing at Vintage Rock Club without stepping outside. The inn does not have a pool, gym, or spa, but the second-floor common area (with a living room and balcony) provides a quiet retreat. Nearby attractions such as the Audubon Nature Institute and walking tours of the Arts District add off-site leisure options.
