COSY BEDROOM 12MINS TO AIRPORT PRUDENTIAL NJIT UMDJ PENN STATION, Newark

The property is within a 10-minute walk of Norfolk Street Light Rail Station, providing direct service to Newark Penn Station and connections to New York in under 20 minutes. A bus stop less than five minutes away also runs to Penn Station. The area offers quick access to fast food outlets, a supermarket, and an African market, but the neighbourhood has limited walkability for evening leisure. A car or rideshare is recommended for late returns, as the area is more practical for transit-oriented, budget-conscious travellers.

Available room types offer either a private bathroom with bath and shower, or a shared bathroom with bath. Double rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a wardrobe, electric kettle, tumble dryer, and a flat-screen TV. Rooms with two beds are available. The property is older and basic but clean when maintained regularly; some rooms may feel warm if the heating is set high. The bed setup in some rooms uses stacked mattresses, though the bedding is generally comfortable. Room doors have individual locks for security. No balcony is available.

There are no wellness or leisure facilities on site. The property is a straightforward homestay focused on practical accommodation. For leisure, guests rely on the local area, which includes a supermarket and fast food outlets within walking distance. The light rail and bus provide access to Newark city attractions and New York.

The property provides free Wi-Fi in all areas and free public parking at a nearby location without reservation, plus free street parking. Express check-in/out and private check-in/out are included. There is no airport shuttle, but luggage storage is offered for early arrivals or late departures. The shared kitchen is accessible for guest use. Ironing service and public transport tickets are available for an additional charge. The building has key access and smoke alarms for safety, and is non-smoking throughout. Cots are available on request.
