CROMWELL HOTEL, London

Gloucester Road and Earl's Court stations (Piccadilly, District and Circle lines) are within a short walk, providing direct links to Victoria, Paddington, and King's Cross, as well as Heathrow Airport. The M4 motorway is accessible for drivers, though the hotel has no on-site parking. Hyde Park, the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Royal Albert Hall, and Harrods are all within a 12- to 20-minute walk. Several restaurants and a Sainsbury's supermarket are located directly across the road, and a Tesco Express is a 6-minute walk away. The area is well served by bus routes to major attractions and shopping areas such as Oxford Street and Knightsbridge.

Room types include Double (double bed), Superior Double (king or queen bed, rates from £180), Family/Twin (double and twin beds, rates from £99), and Junior Suite (two king-size beds in a two-story layout for up to four people). Economy rooms are also available. All rooms are en-suite with a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, electric kettle, and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have been renovated with modern furniture, laminate flooring, and new bathrooms with good water pressure, while others remain older with worn furniture and carpeted floors. Air conditioning is present in some rooms but may not work reliably in all. Road-facing rooms can be noisy from traffic; rooms at the back are quieter but may face a courtyard. Some rooms have small windows, and a limited number have no windows at all. Rooms on the fifth floor require climbing stairs as the lift stops at the fourth floor. Portable electric heaters are available in rooms without functioning air conditioning. Super king beds are configured as two single beds pushed together.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. The 24-hour front desk, with multilingual staff, can assist with late check-in (no additional charge for arrivals up to 1 AM) and luggage storage at no extra cost. Fax/photocopying is available for an additional charge. A meeting room is on site. The lift serves floors one to four but does not reach the fifth floor, so rooms on that level require climbing stairs. Guests can request ground-floor rooms if needed. Hairdryers, irons, and extra towels are available from the reception. A luggage storage service is provided, allowing guests to leave bags before check-in and after check-out. Key card and key access are used for security. The hotel can receive deliveries on behalf of guests at no charge. No washing machine or guest laundry facility is available.
