DAFFODIL IN ROMA SAN PIETRO, Rome

Located just a 6-minute walk from Lepanto Metro Station and 500 metres from Ottaviano Metro Station, the property provides direct access to Rome's main railway station (Termini) and other key areas. The Vatican Museums are a 12-minute walk away, and St. Peter's Basilica is 2 km away. The surrounding area is well-served by buses and is considered a safe neighbourhood with numerous restaurants, bars, and shops within a few hundred metres. An ice-skating rink is also within the surroundings, adding a leisure option. The Prati district offers a pleasant walk across the Tiber to central landmarks.

Rooms are available with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and a kitchenette equipped with a stovetop, oven, refrigerator, and kitchenware. Some units also include a washing machine and a separate living area. The property offers family rooms with 2 or 3 beds. Some rooms face a main road and can be noisy; requesting a room away from the street is advisable for light sleepers. The interior courtyard view in some apartments helps reduce noise. The building has no lift, so guests with heavy luggage should be prepared for stairs. Rooms are described as spacious by some, while others note worn furniture and a need for renovation.

Breakfast is not served on-site but is provided through a voucher for a nearby bar - typically one cappuccino and a croissant or pastry per person, per day. The bar is a short walk from the property and is generally well-regarded for its friendly service. The property does not have a restaurant. The kitchenette in each unit allows for self-catering, and numerous restaurants, pizzerias, and bistros are within a 5-minute walk, offering a wide range of Italian cuisine.

There is no spa, swimming pool, or fitness centre on site. Leisure options revolve around the immediate surroundings, including an ice-skating rink nearby and the vast Vatican Museums within walking distance. Board games are available on the property for quiet in-room entertainment.

WiFi is free in all rooms, though some units have reported intermittent connectivity. A 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, and a locker room are available. Daily housekeeping is included, but the standard of cleanliness has been inconsistent. The property offers a paid shuttle service (not to the airport), bicycle rental (additional charge), and currency exchange. Laundry and dry cleaning are available for a fee. Visitors can use the shared facilities, including a safety deposit box and a business centre with free fax/photocopying.
