DAYS INN BY WYNDHAM SARASOTA BAY, Sarasota

The property provides double and quadruple room configurations. All rooms include air conditioning, soundproof walls, a private entrance, and a tea/coffee maker. Some rooms have a terrace. A flat-screen TV with cable channels is standard, as are ironing facilities and a sitting area. While the hotel is undergoing renovations, room conditions can vary widely: some units are clean and adequately maintained, while others have reported stained sheets, mold, peeling paint, rust, broken fixtures, and pest issues. The absence of daily housekeeping means towels and supplies are obtained at the front desk. Portable cribs are not available.

The hotel is situated 2 km from New College of Florida, 6 km from Selby Gardens, and 8 km from Robart's Arena. The Ringling Museum is about 1 km away, with a handful of casual cafes within walking distance. The property sits 6.4 to 10 km from the beaches of Lido Key and Siesta Key, reachable by a short drive or by public transport (just steps from the property). No on-site parking is available, so guests driving must plan for off-site options. The area has some concerns about noise and loitering at night.

Breakfast includes a pancake-making machine, selective cereals, bagels, bread, yogurt, and hard-boiled eggs. The breakfast area also offers coffee, tea, and milk. No hot items beyond pancakes are provided. Breakfast hours can sometimes be short, so planning an early arrival is practical. There is no on-site restaurant or bar, but the property has a snack bar and vending machines for drinks and snacks. Several cafes (Four Winds Cafe, Banyan Cafe) are within 1 km.

The outdoor pool is heated and open all year, providing a reliable leisure option regardless of season. The pool area is adjacent to a sheltered barbecue area and picnic tables, and a coin-operated laundry is nearby, which can be convenient for families. The property also features a garden and outdoor furniture. During construction periods, debris may occasionally affect the pool area.
