DAYS INN & SUITES BY WYNDHAM JAMAICA JFK AIRPORT, New York

Situated roughly 10-15 minutes from JFK Airport by car or shuttle, the immediate area is industrial with auto wrecking yards, repair shops, and a main road generating heavy traffic noise. The neighbourhood is considered unsafe for walking, especially at night. The nearest subway station (Sutphin Blvd - Archer Ave) is about a 15-minute walk, offering connections to Manhattan. Nearby dining options include Smoke BBQ Pit and G's Homestyle Cooking, both 0.5 km away, and Margherita Pizza Incorporated at 1 km. For daytime or early departures, the location works as a practical transit stop, but for evening stays or solo travellers, arriving by car or shuttle is strongly recommended due to safety concerns.

Accommodation consists of compact rooms, often described as tight for more than one person, with some located on the ground floor at sub-road level offering little natural light. A fridge and basic amenities like free toiletries are provided. The seating area is minimal, and some rooms have windows facing the main road, resulting in significant noise from trucks and traffic. Room sizes vary; single rooms can be especially small. Standard details include heating, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV. Light sleepers may prefer a room away from the road. The property offers non-smoking rooms and family rooms, but availability varies.

The main services include a 24-hour front desk, express check-in/check-out, and luggage storage - helpful for early arrivals or late departures. The free airport shuttle runs 24/7 but may require calling the hotel from a US mobile phone to arrange pickup, as there is no direct airport phone line. The shuttle frequency can vary; allowing extra time is advisable. Free on-site parking is available only with a prior reservation and has very limited spaces. Other practical amenities include an ATM/cash machine on site, ironing service, laundry, and dry cleaning. Safety features include CCTV in common areas, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. The property offers facilities for disabled guests and a lift.
