DOMUS CHIARA AL COLOSSEO, Rome

Situated in a historic building in central Rome, the apartment is 200 m from the Colosseum and Santa Maria Maggiore. The metro station Colosseo (200 m) and Vittorio Emanuele Metro Station (14 min walk) connect to Termini station and all major sites. Bus stops and tram lines are steps away, and Rome Ciampino Airport is 14 km. Numerous restaurants, bars, and a gelateria are within 300 m, and the area feels safe and walkable for evening strolls around the Colosseum.

The apartment features 3 separate bedrooms (one with a double bed and two with twin beds), 2 bathrooms with walk-in showers and bidets, and a living room. The full kitchen includes a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and coffee machine. Soundproof walls ensure the ground-floor location remains quiet. All rooms have individual air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and garden views. A washing machine, ironing facilities, and a safe deposit box are included. No balcony or room with a balcony exists. Photographs under-represent the space; the apartment is larger and better appointed in reality.

Breakfast is not included by default. An optional voucher provides a simple morning meal (one croissant, one drink) at the restaurant in the same building. The apartment also has a shared kitchen for self-catering, stocked with cookware. For fuller meals, the immediate area offers many restaurants, including Hostaria da Nerone and Brewdog, all within 300 m. The host sometimes provides welcome snacks, fruit, pastries, and bottled water in the apartment.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all areas. The host (Max) provides a personal check-in, explains the apartment, and offers local recommendations. Luggage storage is available if rooms are not ready. The shared lounge and kitchen are accessible. A lift operates in the historic building. Security includes key access, smoke alarms, and a safe deposit box. No daily housekeeping or towel changes are included. No pets, smoking, or paid breakfast vouchers are offered.
