OSCAR 3, Rome

Oscar 3 is situated directly across from Roma Termini, placing all main metro, train, and airport bus connections within a 1-2 minute walk. Vittorio Emanuele Metro Station is 6 minutes on foot, Santa Maria Maggiore is 500 metres away, and the Colosseum is a 19-minute walk. The immediate area has numerous restaurants, supermarkets, and shops within a 5-minute radius. While the convenience of the location is excellent for transport and sightseeing, the street is busy and the building sits above a bus stop, so rooms facing the road can be noisy at night. Courtyard-facing rooms are noticeably quieter. The neighbourhood around Termini is lively and may feel less comfortable after dark, but major landmarks and the city centre remain easily reachable on foot.

Accommodation is offered in double and triple rooms, each with a private bathroom (bath, shower, bidet, hairdryer), air conditioning, heating, soundproof walls, a seating area, wardrobe, and flat-screen TV with cable channels. City views or inner courtyard views are available. The kitchenette is provided but without cooking facilities, useful for simple meal preparation. Noise levels vary significantly - rooms facing the courtyard are quiet, while road-facing rooms are affected by bus stop noise. The property is a shared apartment split into three guest rooms, so sound from other guests can be heard through thin walls. Overall, the rooms are functional and better suited for travellers who prioritise location and practical amenities over modern decor or spaciousness.

There is no restaurant or breakfast service at Oscar 3. The shared kitchen includes a capsule coffee machine, a fridge, and a microwave, allowing guests to prepare simple meals and drinks. Bottled water and coffee pods are provided at no charge. The surrounding area is dense with dining options: at least 15 restaurants are within a 5-minute walk, covering Italian, Chinese, Korean, Thai, and other cuisines. The Roma Termini area also has supermarkets, bakeries, and takeaway spots open in the evening, so planning meals is straightforward.

No wellness or leisure facilities such as a spa, gym, sauna, or pool are available on site. The property features a small garden courtyard area where guests can sit outdoors. For leisure activities, the central location provides easy access to Rome's historic centre, parks, and walking routes. Public transport from Termini connects to Villa Borghese and other green spaces within 20 minutes.

The building has a lift, and rooms are on upper floors. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Daily housekeeping is included and towels are changed regularly. Express check-in/out is available, and luggage storage can be arranged before check-in or after check-out. A safety deposit box is provided at reception, and the property has 24-hour security with CCTV and smoke alarms. The staff are responsive via WhatsApp and typically meet guests at the building entrance for check-in. No parking is available, and no shuttle or airport transfer service is offered. Accepted payment methods include major credit cards, but late check-in fees and city tax must be paid in cash.
