Florence Dream Domus sits in the San Lorenzo district, a pedestrian area directly behind the Duomo. All major sights - the Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, Accademia, and the Central Market - are within a 5-15 minute walk. The nearest tram stop (T2 line to the airport) is about 5 minutes away. Santa Maria Novella station is a 10-minute walk. The surrounding streets are lined with restaurants, shops, and cafés. The area feels safe and central but remains relatively quiet, especially for rooms facing the inner courtyard.

Rooms are individually decorated in a classic Tuscan style with period furniture. Each room includes free WiFi, a flat-screen TV with cable and Netflix, a safe, an electric kettle, and a wardrobe. Bathrooms are private but some are compact, with small shower cubicles; the hydromassage shower in certain rooms provides strong water pressure. The double bed may be two single mattresses pushed together. Rooms facing the inner courtyard are quieter, while street-facing rooms may catch more noise. The property is spread over a single floor, so there is no internal staircase beyond the main building stairs.

A sweet and savoury buffet breakfast can be arranged for €28 per person, featuring toast, jam, pastries, cheese, and cold cuts. Breakfast must be requested at reception - it is not automatically included. For a lighter option, the common area offers a free espresso machine, tea, biscuits, and filtered water 24/7. Several restaurants and cafés are within a 2-minute walk, including Trattoria Mario and Simbiosi Organic Pizza.

WiFi is free and available throughout. Daily housekeeping tidies the room, empties bins, and changes towels. Luggage storage is available both before check-in and after check-out, with key-code access for flexible collection. The reception is staffed during limited hours; late arrivals must be pre-arranged and incur a cash fee. A meeting/banquet room is available for an additional charge. Babysitting and cots can be arranged on request. Payment is by Visa, MasterCard, or CartaSi; the city tax of €5.50 per person per night is payable in cash.
