DRURY INN & SUITES CHARLOTTE ARROWOOD, Charlotte

The hotel is situated off the I-77 corridor at Arrowood Road, providing straightforward highway access and making it a practical choice for travellers visiting Carowinds, the White Water Center, or driving through Charlotte. Charlotte Douglas International Airport is 9 km away, but there is no shuttle, so a car or rideshare is needed. The Spectrum Center and Time Warner Cable Arena are 11 km from the property. A few chain restaurants and a supermarket are within walking distance, though the immediate surroundings are car-oriented with limited pedestrian amenities. Free private on-site parking is available without the need for a reservation.

Breakfast runs 6-9:30 am weekdays and 7-10 am weekends, featuring scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, and KELSO+BROS® coffee. The 5:30 Kickback® from 5:30-7 pm provides a rotating hot menu - such as taco bars, pulled pork sliders, and macaroni and cheese - plus beer, wine, mixed drinks, and soft drinks. Free popcorn and soda are also available in the lobby from 4-8 pm. The on-site Kitchen + Bar, open Monday-Saturday 5 pm-12 am and Sunday 5-11 pm, offers handcrafted cocktails and casual meals like burgers and pizza. The quality of the included meals is generally good, though the Kickback food can run out early during busy periods.

The pool area features a unique partitioned design allowing guests to swim between indoor and outdoor sections, open from 9 am to 10 pm. A lift or other accessible entry is provided for guests with mobility needs. The whirlpool is popular and well-maintained. The 24-hour fitness centre offers free weights and cardio equipment. Business centre with free guest printing is also available on the ground floor. There is no spa or wellness centre on site.
