HOTEL DUETTE PARIS, Paris

Rue de Lévis is lined with colourful food stalls, boulangeries, fromageries, cafés and restaurants, giving the area a live-local energy. Villiers Metro Station (lines 2 and 3) is a five-minute walk and connects directly to Champs-Élysées, Opéra, Saint-Lazare, Pigalle and Père Lachaise. Bus routes 30, 31, 53 and 94 serve the Eiffel Tower, Saint-Germain, Opéra and Étoile. The Arc de Triomphe and Montmartre are about 2km away; Parc Monceau is a five-minute stroll, ideal for picnics. Many key landmarks are within a 20-minute walk through a safe, residential district with a lively but not overly touristy character. The neighbourhood is considered one of the best-rated areas in Paris for its combination of convenience, charm and quiet nights.

Each floor has its own colour scheme - bluish greys, soft tones and accents of vivid yellow - designed by Anne Peyroux. The entry-level Parisette rooms (10-13m2) have twin or queen beds and Italian-style walk-in showers. Doucette deluxe rooms open onto an airy courtyard garden and include a lounge area. Cachette superior rooms (12-14m2) offer rooftop views. Sélecte Junior Suites feature a dedicated lounge area and superior soundproofing. Ampersand communicating rooms connect two rooms, suitable for groups or small families. All rooms include air conditioning, a personal safe (fits a 15-inch laptop), 82cm flat-screen TV with international channels, Omnisens toiletries, and a hairdryer. Rooms are described as clean and modern, with comfortable beds, though some are compact. Rear-facing rooms such as room 27 are particularly quiet. A terrace seating area is available for all guests.

The outdoor terrace and garden provide a calm space to sit with a book or a drink. A small paved courtyard area attached to some ground-floor rooms offers private outdoor seating. The neighbourhood itself is rich in leisure options: Parc Monceau is a five-minute walk away, and the shops, cafés and street market on Rue de Lévis provide a genuinely local Parisian atmosphere.
