HOTEL ELITE, Rome

The hotel sits in the heart of Rome, within a 5-minute walk of the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. The Barberini metro station (Line A) is 4 minutes away, and bus stops are just around the corner, giving direct routes across the city. Rome Ciampino Airport is 15 km away; a private transfer for two people costs €60. The area is filled with restaurants, boutiques and luxury stores - many landmarks such as the Pantheon (15 minutes) and the Colosseum (20 minutes) are reachable on foot. A steep approach means the street can be strenuous for some, but the walkability of the entire historic centre makes a car unnecessary.

The hotel has 21 recently refurbished rooms in minimalist style. All rooms include a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer, safe, mini bar, air conditioning, heating, flat-screen TV (32-40 inch), direct-dial phone and electric kettle. Room sizes vary: Compact rooms (around 16 m2) are functional but small, making them best for short stays. Superior and Deluxe rooms are slightly larger (around 17 m2) and quieter; Deluxe rooms offer direct sea view balconies. Suites (around 28 m2) add a separate sitting area with a sofa bed that can convert to bunk beds, plus a larger terrace. Rooms facing the main street can be very noisy from traffic, particularly at night; internal courtyard rooms are much quieter but receive less natural light. Some rooms have twin beds pushed together rather than a king, and bed configuration should be confirmed at booking. Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh linen and towels.

Hotel Elite does not have its own restaurant or dining room. Breakfast can be purchased at Hotel White (Via in Arcione 77), a 5-minute walk away, costing €15 per person. In the lobby, guests have free access to a coffee machine, drinks, pastries, fruit and biscuits during reception hours. The immediate area is packed with restaurants, wine bars and cafés - several are within a 2-minute walk - making it easy to find dinner or a quick meal without travelling far.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, including in all rooms. Daily housekeeping is included, along with towel and linen changes. Luggage storage is offered free of charge before check-in and after check-out (during reception hours). A safety deposit box is provided for free in rooms. Additional services (laundry, dry cleaning, ironing) are available for an extra cost. The lobby has a drink vending machine. The hotel is non-smoking throughout, with key card access, CCTV in common areas, fire extinguishers and smoke alarms. The elevator is accessible after climbing 14 steps from street level.
