EMBASSY SUITES BY HILTON TAMPA USF NEAR BUSCH GARDENS, Tampa

All accommodations are suites featuring a private bedroom and a separate living area with a sofa bed, ideal for families or groups. Each suite includes a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee-making facilities, plus cable TV with pay-per-view options. Most rooms offer bathtubs, and adjoining rooms are available upon request. The property offers accessible rooms with roll-in showers and hearing-accessible features. Room quality varies: suites are generally spacious and clean, but some areas show wear and dated decor. Maintenance issues like inconsistent air conditioning, non-working phones, and occasional pests have been noted. Light sleepers should request a room away from the elevator to reduce hallway noise.

Breakfast includes an omelet station with a variety of fillings, plus hot and cold items-a highlight for many stays. The evening reception runs from 17:30 to 19:30 and offers two free alcoholic drinks per person along with light snacks such as chips, salsa, goldfish, M&Ms, pretzels, and cheese. Although the snack selection is more limited than at other Embassy Suites, the bar provides a friendly atmosphere. Mangroves Grill serves American cuisine (notably Arroz Con Pollo and a French Dip sandwich) for dinner Monday-Saturday. The kitchen is closed on Sundays, so plan accordingly.

The outdoor swimming pool is open year-round and is available from dawn until dusk-a practical option for cooling off after a day at Busch Gardens. Sun loungers and beach chairs are provided. The pool is unheated, which may affect comfort in cooler months. The fitness centre is free for guests and includes standard cardio and strength equipment. No spa, sauna, or hot tub is available. Occasional debris in the pool area may occur during peak occupancy; the pool's condition can vary.

The hotel offers a free shuttle service that covers a 5 km radius, including Busch Gardens and shopping, but not the airport or cruise terminals. Parking is private on-site at $13/day, payable via QR code-no reservation needed. Wi-Fi is available at $9.95 per 24 hours. Guests have access to a 24-hour front desk with ATM, concierge, and express check-in/out. Luggage storage is free. Daily housekeeping, dry cleaning, and laundry (additional charge) are available. Pets are allowed with no weight limit; charges may apply. Meeting and banquet facilities are available. The building is fully accessible with lifts, wheelchair access, and accessible parking, including an electric vehicle charging station.
