EMBER HOSTEL, Denver

The hostel sits in the historic Capitol Hill neighborhood, offering easy access to downtown Denver. The 9th Avenue bus stop is a 2-minute walk, providing direct service to Union Station and the A-Line to Denver International Airport. Within a 5-10 minute walk there are multiple restaurants, bars, and a Trader Joe's. The Colorado History Museum is nearby, and the Pepsi Center is 4 km away. The area is walkable, with bus and ride-share options making downtown and RiNo accessible within 10 minutes by car or bus.

Rooms are housed in a historic 4-floor building, with common areas on the main floor and some dorm rooms in the basement. Each bunk has a privacy curtain, reading light, USB charging port, and a lockable under-bed storage compartment. Top bunks have a narrower ladder access, and bottom bunks cannot be guaranteed. The double room includes an iPod dock and air conditioning. Some rooms have a balcony. Rooms are non-smoking, soundproofed, and heated; air conditioning is provided but may be less effective in basement rooms during hot weather. Bed linens and towels are included, with daily housekeeping. The dorm rooms can accommodate up to 8 persons per room.

The shared kitchen allows guests to prepare their own meals. Free coffee and tea are available all day in the common area. Vending machines offer snacks and drinks. Breakfast service is not standard; availability must be checked when booking. The surrounding area has numerous restaurants and cafés within a short walk, including Charlie Brown's Bar & Grill, Lowdown Brewery + Kitchen, and Anise Modern Vietnamese Eatery, all within 0.5 km.

Wellness facilities include a free solarium and fitness/spa locker rooms. For leisure, there is table tennis, darts, and board games. The hostel organizes free weekly events: Thursday sunset jog to a local brewery, Friday games, and Saturday s'mores around the fire. Movie nights, karaoke, and walking tours are offered free of charge; pub crawls carry an additional fee. The backyard features an outdoor fireplace, hammock, and picnic area. Note that the hot tub is not in operation at this time.

WiFi is free in all areas. The 24-hour front desk can assist with concierge services, invoice requests, and orientation. Luggage storage (free) and lockers (bring or buy a lock for $5) are available. Daily housekeeping is complimentary; laundry services cost extra. Private parking is on-site for $10 per day (reservation not needed).
