Simba Run sits in a quiet residential part of East Vail, roughly 1 km from both the Avalanche Pub and the Born Free Express -8 lift, and about 1 km from Adventure Ridge. Vail Village and Lionshead are a 15-20 minute walk, or a short ride on the free Town of Vail bus which stops at the top of the driveway. During ski season, the property's own private shuttle runs every 20-30 minutes to the villages and ski lifts, with a real-time tracker on your phone. For summer stays, the shuttle does not run, but the Town of Vail bus remains available. A Safeway grocery store is about 2 km down the road, and several dining options such as Moe's Original BBQ and Rimini are within 1 km. The nearest airport is Eagle County Regional Airport, 44 km away; airport shuttle service is not available.

All units are 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condominiums, sleeping up to 6 guests - some units have a sleeper sofa, others do not. Bedding is assigned based on the total number of guests on the reservation, and bedding configurations vary per individually owned condo. A standout feature is the fully equipped kitchen with cookware, utensils, pots, salt and pepper, plus a washer and tumble dryer in each unit. 90% of units include a fireplace in the living area, and all have heating, a sitting area, dining table, and flat-screen TV. Simba Run does not operate a restaurant, bar, or offer breakfast. Each condo comes with a full kitchen including cookware, utensils, pots, dishes, and a dining area - ideal for preparing meals. A Safeway supermarket is about 2 km down the road, and the shuttle can accommodate grocery trips. Several dining options are within walking distance or a short shuttle ride: Avalanche Pub, Moe's Original BBQ, Rimini, and 7 one 5 are all around 1 km away. A vending machine for drinks and snacks is on-site.

The wellness facilities are a major draw: an indoor heated pool (open all year, with a cover and shallow end), two hot tubs (one indoor, one outdoor), a sauna, and a steam room - all available at no extra charge and open daily 08:00-18:00. The fitness centre and fitness/spa locker rooms are also free.
