The hotel sits on the pedestrian esplanade along the Guadalmedina river, placing you in the heart of Málaga's most dynamic cultural district. The María Zambrano AVE station is 500 m away, offering high-speed trains to Madrid (2 hr 40 min) and Córdoba (1 hr). The Alameda metro stop, just 2 minutes on foot, runs direct C1-line trains to the airport in 15 minutes. The historic centre, with the Alcazaba and the cathedral, is within a 5- to 10-minute walk; El Corte Inglés and the main shopping streets are even closer. La Malagueta beach is a 15-minute walk. The area is well served by cafés, restaurants, and cultural venues, but lies slightly away from the most tourist-heavy streets, keeping the immediate vicinity quieter at night.

Standard double or twin rooms (18 m2) are comfortable and bright, with a minibar, safe, satellite TV, and free Wi-Fi. Family travel is well served by the double room with an extra bed (20 m2), which accommodates three with two single beds plus a third bed. The Superior double room with a private terrace (16 m2) opens to city views and is available on the upper floors. All bathrooms include shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion in wall dispensers, plus a hairdryer. Rooms facing the road can experience traffic noise, especially on lower floors; rooms overlooking the inner courtyard are quieter. Some rooms have a glass bathroom door that lets light through. A room adapted for wheelchair users is available. Beds are generally described as comfortable, with good-quality mattresses.

Breakfast is served from 07:45 to 10:30 in a small dining area. The spread includes scrambled eggs, cold meats and cheese, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts, pastries, breads, and a gluten-free option. Tea, coffee, and juices are provided. While the variety is good for the price, the dining room can become crowded when full. The hotel has no restaurant, bar, or room service for evening meals. Instead, the surrounding streets - particularly in the Soho district - offer numerous cafés and restaurants within a 2- to 5-minute walk. A coffee house is available on-site for hot drinks. A breakfast box to-go can be requested for early departures.

There is no swimming pool, spa, wellness centre, or fitness room at the hotel. The property's main leisure asset is its location: the Contemporary Art Centre is 50 metres away, the Picasso Museum is a 10-minute walk, and La Malagueta beach is 1 km away. Walking tours can be arranged at the tour desk. For relaxation, guests often use the Superior rooms' private terraces or head out to the pedestrian esplanade along the river.
