SOUTHPOINT SUITES JACKSONVILLE, Jacksonville

The hotel is situated in the Southpoint area of Jacksonville, with Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, Everbank Stadium, and River Cruises within close proximity. Restaurants such as Red Gill Bistro (0.5 km), Cracker Barrel (2 km), and Kazu Sushi Burrito (2 km) are nearby. The location is convenient for long stays, with free on-site parking eliminating the need for street parking. However, the immediate area can feel unsafe at night, and the hotel itself lacks secure public spaces.

Studios include a kitchenette with cookware, a dining area, a seating area with a reclining chair or sofa bed, a desk, ironing facilities, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Bed configurations range from 1 to 3 beds. Private bathrooms are standard. However, many units show significant wear: cabinets and appliances can be damaged or rusty, carpets are heavily stained, and pests such as cockroaches are common. Some rooms lack basic furniture like sofas or chairs, and issues such as broken window locks, non-functional air conditioning, and hazardous exposed nails have been reported. Rooms are best suited for short, necessity-based stays rather than extended comfort.

The hotel does not offer breakfast. Each studio comes with a full kitchenette (stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, kitchenware), enabling guests to prepare their own meals. Vending machines are available for drinks and snacks. Nearby dining options include Red Gill Bistro (0.5 km), Cracker Barrel (2 km), Kazu Sushi Burrito (2 km), and Chicken Salad Chick (2 km).
