EXTENDED STAY AMERICA SELECT SUITES - DURHAM - UNIVERSITY - IVY CREEK BLVD, Durham

Each morning a complementary breakfast is available in the lobby area, consisting of instant oatmeal, grits, cereal, and coffee. The breakfast area is small and may run out of items during busy periods - arriving early is helpful. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar, but the surrounding plaza offers several fast-food and casual options within walking distance: Burger King, Only Burger, Bull & Bean, Saladelia Cafe, Jumbo China & Grill, Twisted Noodle, and Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt. For groceries, Harris Teeter is next door and CVS is across the parking lot, making self-catering straightforward if you have your own utensils.

The property does not provide wellness or leisure facilities such as a pool, spa, gym, or sauna. The leisure value comes from the surrounding area: there is a movie theater within walking distance, and the hotel is close to golf course, tennis court, and water sports options within the wider Durham area. For longer stays, the weekly cleaning schedule and kitchenette allow for a self-sufficient routine, but those expecting hotel-style recreational amenities should plan around external options.
