EXTENDED STAY AMERICA SUITES - HOUSTON - GALLERIA - UPTOWN, Houston

This property sits less than a one-minute drive (about 1 km) from the Galleria Mall, placing guests in the center of a premium shopping and business district. The Museum District and George R. Brown Convention Center are also nearby. Immediate surrounding dining includes Omaha Steakhouse, Moxie's Grill and Bar, and Jamba Juice, all within 1 km, plus Caracol Mexican Coastal Kitchen and Jenni's Noodle House within 2 km. The 610 Expressway provides direct routes to other parts of Houston. While the main entrance can be easy to miss from the road, the location itself is convenient for car-based travel and for accessing the Post Oak business area. Free on-site parking is available but no airport shuttle is offered.

Standard room configurations include 1 King or 1 Queen bed, a sleeper chair in some layouts, or 2 Queen beds, each providing a separate dining and work area. Kitchens include basic cookware (available at the desk on request) plus free toiletries, and an AM/FM alarm clock. Bedding features upgraded pillows. However, multiple rooms have been reported as being in a state of neglect, with issues such as mold, mildew odors, rusted and damaged refrigerators, broken microwaves, stained and damp bedding, torn screens, and bathrooms with cracked or dirty tubs and sticky floors. Window sills and cabinets are often described as outdated or damaged. Noise from other guests and intermittent smells of smoke or marijuana in hallways are possible. The property is currently undergoing renovations, with some hallways and elevators covered in tarps and duct tape. An elevator is available.

The complimentary breakfast items are available from 6:00 to 9:30, but the selection is self-serve and positioned in the lobby area. There is no restaurant on-site, and vending machines for drinks and snacks are available. The limitations of the breakfast offering mean it is best suited for a quick start to the day. Several restaurants are within a short drive or walk, including Vallone Restaurant Group and Moxie's Grill and Bar at 1 km, and Caracol Mexican Coastal Kitchen at 2 km.

This hotel does not offer a swimming pool, spa, or gym. Guests looking to maintain a fitness routine or seeking leisure amenities should plan for off-site options. The location's proximity to the Galleria Mall does provide immediate access to retail and entertainment options for leisure time.
