EXTENDED STAY AMERICA SUITES - TUCSON - GRANT ROAD, Tucson

The hotel sits on Grant Road, placing it within a short walk of multiple restaurants including IHOP, Seoul Kitchen, Kogi Korean BBQ, Smashburger, and First Watch, as well as Starbucks and grocery stores like Trader Joe's and Fry's. The area is well-served for medical visits, being close to Tucson Medical Center and The Center at Tucson rehabilitation facility. For nature lovers, Saguaro National Park and several hiking trails are a short drive away, and the Catalina Mountains are visible from higher floors. The location is practical for self-catering stays, as a CVS is across the street and the public transport and road access suit both car and transit users. The free on-site parking and the absence of an airport shuttle make a car a practical choice for exploring the wider Tucson area.

Rooms are studio-style with a private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen (full-size refrigerator, stovetop, microwave), and a combined dining/work area. Bed options include one king, one queen, or two double beds. The rooms feature air conditioning, heating, carpeted floors, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a tea/coffee maker, and free toiletries. The layout is efficient and spacious enough for extended stays, with a large desk suitable for a computer setup. While many units are clean and comfortable, the interior style is basic and could benefit from updates. Windows and walls are described as thin, meaning road-facing rooms and doors that let in light can affect sleep; light sleepers should request a top-floor room away from the street. Some bathrooms have reported issues with fan operation, water pressure, and sink condition, so checking the room upon arrival is advisable. The hotel also offers accessible rooms with roll-in or tub showers, grab bars, and accessible parking.

The hotel offers free Wi-Fi in all areas, and the connection is noted as sufficient for remote work or streaming. Free private parking is available on site with no reservation needed. The property is pet-friendly, allowing up to two pets per suite with a fee covering the first seven nights; service animals are exempt. Practical services include on-site guest laundry, vending machines for drinks and snacks, and a 24-hour front desk. Housekeeping is not included automatically for stays of up to seven nights; fresh towels and linens are available at the front desk, and paid cleaning (full service for $10, or refresh for $5) can be requested. The hotel also provides accessibility features such as accessible parking, entrance, rooms, and bathrooms with grab bars and roll-in or tub showers. Bed frame removal for mobility needs requires 48 hours' notice. Luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures, and the staff is described as helpful and professional in managing check-in and special requests.
