FAIRFIELD INN BY MARRIOTT NEW YORK LAGUARDIA AIRPORT/ASTORIA, New York

The hotel's location in Astoria provides quick access to LaGuardia Airport via a free shuttle. The nearest subway station (31st Street and Astoria Boulevard) is a 12-minute walk, connecting directly to Manhattan and other boroughs. Several cafes and seafood restaurants are within a 0.5-kilometer radius, including Cafe Noisette and AbuQir Seafood. The immediate area is car-oriented with limited dining directly at the hotel; evening pedestrian activity can be sparse, so planning excursions outside the hotel in advance is recommended. Guests with a car will find on-site parking available for a fee, and street parking is also possible with attention to signs. Notable attractions such as Citi Field and Yankee Stadium are a short drive away.

Guest rooms are newly refreshed and feature carpeted floors, private bathrooms with a bath, shower, and hairdryer, along with complimentary toiletries. Each unit provides air conditioning (some units may produce noticeable noise), a flat-screen TV with streaming services and HBO, a coffee and tea maker, microwave, and mini fridge. Wardrobe space is available, and windows operate in select rooms. Room sizes are moderate, typical for a city hotel, and family rooms are available. While the property maintains a high standard of cleanliness overall, isolated lapses in servicing and occasional pest sightings have occurred; inspecting the room upon arrival is advisable. A safe is provided for valuables. Travelers sensitive to noise should request a room away from the elevator and breakfast area on an upper floor for a quieter experience.

The complimentary breakfast includes a varied buffet: bagels, muffins, danishes, fresh fruit, yogurt, hot items, coffee, tea, and juices, all served in a dedicated area. For other meals, the hotel offers no restaurant, but an in-room coffee maker and mini fridge provide light refreshments. A minimarket on site stocks beverages and packaged snacks. For a more extensive meal, several cafes and seafood restaurants are within a five-minute walk, including Cafe Noisette and AbuQir Seafood.

The fitness centre is open around the clock at no charge and features treadmills, weights, and basic machines. For leisure beyond the hotel, Astoria's residential streets are walkable, and nearby attractions such as Citi Field and the U.S. Open Tennis Center are within a short drive. No spa, sauna, or swimming pool facilities are available, making this property best suited for travelers prioritizing convenience and transit access over resort-style amenities.
