FAIRFIELD INN & SUITES BY MARRIOTT PORTLAND AIRPORT, Portland

The hotel is located 2 km from Portland International Airport, making it ideal for early departures or late arrivals. A free 24-hour shuttle connects the hotel to PDX. Downtown Portland, Oregon Convention Center, and Moda Center are each about 12 km away. A tram stop outside provides convenient car-free access to the city centre. The immediate area has limited dining options - Burger King (0.5 km), China Wok (0.5 km), McDonald's (0.5 km), Subway (0.5 km), and Shari's (0.5 km) are within walking distance. The surrounding neighbourhood has some areas with homeless camps, and the hotel is directly under the airport flight path, so aircraft noise is audible inside the rooms. The parking lot can feel dark at night.

Accommodation includes rooms with one or two beds, plus family rooms. Connecting rooms are available. Rooms feature air conditioning (the fan cannot be turned off separately), heating, tea and coffee facilities, a flat-screen TV, and an AM/FM alarm clock. Windows open only a few inches. Some rooms have a bathtub or roll-in shower. Highway and aircraft noise can be significant, so rooms away from the road and elevator are quieter. Certain rooms are smaller but functional, with carpeted floors. No rooms have a balcony. Housekeeping is not daily; you may need to request towel replenishment or cleaning at the front desk.

The fitness centre is free to use and open around the clock. It is equipped with a Matrix treadmill, elliptical machine, free weights, and a universal gym. There is no pool, spa, or sauna on the property. The accessible fitness centre entrance is from the main corridor.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/check-out, a safety deposit box, and ATM on site. The free airport shuttle runs 24 hours but is shared with nearby properties - book your slot early at check-in. Parking costs US$8 per day and is unreserved; complimentary long-term parking is only included with the Park and Fly package. Other services include a business centre, dry cleaning (fee), laundry (fee), and a shared lounge/TV area. The hotel is fully accessible: elevators, van-accessible parking, roll-in showers, bathtub grab rails, hearing-accessible kits, and TTY/TTD compatibility are all available. A US$20 per day incidental hold is placed on your card at check-in.
