FANCY APT PARA 4PX EN LA PLAZA DEL CARMEN-GRAN VIA E2, Madrid

The apartment places you right in central Madrid, ideal for walking to the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum (13 min), Prado Museum (16 min), and many shops, restaurants, and cafés. Gran Vía is 500 metres away and the metro station is a 3-minute walk, making it easy to travel the city without a car. However, the same building houses a nightclub that operates until early morning, and a building site starts work at 7:30 AM, so the location's daytime convenience is heavily offset by relentless late-night noise. Access is via a lockbox attached to an outer gate and a key provided by the apartment; guests have reported being unable to enter without calling the cleaner for help.

The apartment includes one separate bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed, one bathroom with a shower, and a kitchen equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and tea and coffee maker. Air conditioning, heating, a washing machine, ironing facilities, and free WiFi are provided. The sofa bed has been reported broken, with damaged slats and a stained duvet. Cleanliness has been poor, with dirty floors, dusty surfaces, insufficient towels, used cookware, and only one toilet roll for a four-person stay. The hob was disconnected and unusable at arrival and had to be reconnected later. Only three pillows were supplied for four guests, and the fourth was never delivered.
