The property sits between Place Denfert-Rochereau and Place d'Italie, placing it centrally for exploring both the Left Bank and central Paris. Glacière station on metro line 6 is immediately nearby, and Denfert-Rochereau (RER B) offers direct, non-stop rail service to Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports. A supermarket and several casual eateries (including a pizzeria) are within a 5-minute walk. The Panthéon, the Catacombs and the rue Mouffetard market are all accessible on foot in around 20 minutes, while the Butte-aux-Cailles neighbourhood, known for its street art and village feel, is a short stroll away.

Twin rooms measure 16m2, each with two single beds, a desk, a storage cupboard, and its own bathroom. Dorm-style rooms of 6-7 beds have secure lockers and partial partition panels for a little personal space. The newer FIAPex Premium rooms have double beds instead of singles, and some rooms have a small terrace. Room amenities include a washbasin, shower, WC, telephone, and a fan. There is no television or mini-fridge in standard rooms; Wi-Fi is available throughout. Noise levels vary: rooms facing the inner courtyard or garden tend to be calm, while those on lower floors near the street can be affected by early-morning traffic. Rooms are cleaned every third day, and housekeeping supplies only toilet paper - soap and shower gel are not provided.

The Cocagne self-service restaurant serves breakfast from 06:45 to 09:00, lunch from 11:45 to 13:45, and dinner from 18:30 to 20:30. Breakfast is a buffet with sweet and savoury options (bread, pastries, boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, hot drinks, juice). Lunch and dinner menus change daily and include a hot main dish, salad, and dessert; a children's menu is also available. A separate bar and terrace area is open during the day and into the evening for drinks and snacks. Outside food and alcohol are not permitted anywhere on site. For those wanting a more formal meal without leaving the property, the group restaurant serves a plated meal.

A large terrace with tables, chairs, and parasols provides a shaded outdoor lounge. The space is used for occasional summer events (cocktails, DJ set, pétanque). For active downtime, there are indoor and outdoor ping-pong tables and a dedicated youth room equipped with an arcade machine, books, board games, a TV with Netflix, and plenty of board games at reception. A small gym is available from May to September only. The property also organises a free monthly cultural programme of exhibitions, concerts, and open events.

Reception is staffed around the clock, with secure controlled access after 20:00 for guests only. Free Wi-Fi covers all common areas and rooms; a premium (paid) Wi-Fi option is available. The property has a laundry service and a business centre. For groups and events, 26 meeting rooms (including an amphitheatre for up to 200 people) are available for hire, with full audio-visual kit, video projectors, and sound rooms. Day-delegate packages start from €65 and include lunch, mineral water, and coffee. Luggage storage is free on check-out day. Laundry can be arranged, and pets are not specified - check arrangements in advance. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
