FLATTERING - BERLIN, Berlin

The property sits in a lively part of Wedding, with a bus stop directly outside and the nearest metro station (U9) about 10 minutes on foot. Key attractions such as the Memorial of the Berlin Wall (3 km), Natural History Museum (3 km), and Brandenburg Gate (5 km) are reachable by public transport in under 30 minutes. Supermarkets (Lidl, Penny) are across the street, and several cafes and restaurants (Dan Thai, Cafe Uferlos) are within a 5-minute walk. The immediate surroundings include ongoing construction and some older buildings; the area feels less polished than central Mitte but is well connected.

Each apartment includes a separate living room, a kitchen with stove, oven, fridge, and tea/coffee maker, plus a dining area and a terrace or balcony with city views. Bed configurations range from 2 to 6 beds (double beds and sofa beds). The building's single-glazed windows and thin walls mean noise from the street and neighbours is audible; rooms facing the courtyard are quieter. There is no air conditioning - ceiling fans are provided but may not be enough during hot weather. Some apartments have older furniture and hard mattresses; the sofa bed is basic. The apartments are spacious, with parquet floors and ample natural light, but storage space in smaller bedrooms is limited. Bathrooms are private with baths and free toiletries. No television or microwave is provided.

The apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen including stove, oven, refrigerator, cookware, and tea/coffee maker - ideal for preparing meals. Lidl supermarket is directly across the street and Penny is next door, making grocery shopping very convenient. Several cafes and restaurants (Dan Thai, Cafe Uferlos, First Grillhaus) are within a 5- to 10-minute walk. There is no breakfast service or restaurant on the property, so all meals are self-catered or taken in the neighbourhood.

The property does not have wellness or leisure facilities such as a spa, gym, or pool. For outdoor activities, an ice-skating rink and boating are available in the vicinity (details at reception). The balcony in each apartment provides a private outdoor space for relaxing. The location is well suited for walking and cycling around the neighbourhood, with parks and green spaces a short metro ride away.
