FORTUNE PLAZA HOTEL, DUBAI AIRPORT, Dubai

The hotel sits in the Al Qusais district, bordering Hor Al Anz and Al Twar, and is well-served by public transport. Al Qusais Metro Station is a 10-minute walk away, offering access to the Green Line with connections to the city centre and the airport via the Airport Free Zone station. The area includes several small and large supermarkets, department stores, and Al Mulla Plaza, one of Dubai's oldest shopping centres. While the road network is somewhat complicated for drivers, taxis and buses are practical alternatives.

Rooms are soundproofed and feature parquet or tiled floors, a seating and dressing area, ironing facilities, and a trouser press. The bathroom is private with a shower, hairdryer, free toiletries, and slippers. In-room amenities include an electric kettle, tea and coffee maker, and a safe. A refrigerator is available in rooms (no kitchen facilities). For better sleep quality, request a room away from the on-site club to avoid potential noise from live music and crowds that can continue until the early morning. Some areas may show signs of wear, and attention to cleanliness can vary.

Breakfast is available for an additional charge (approx. 25 AED) and offers continental and buffet options. For other meals, the hotel hosts a range of dining and entertainment outlets. Freddy's Restro Cafe (open 12 noon-3 am) serves international food and shows live sports on big screens, with a self-serve beer system. The Tharavad restaurant specializes in Kerala, Mangalorean, and Goan cuisine, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The 24-hour Karama Cafe offers coffee, light meals, and snacks. A supermarket and several restaurants are also within a short walk.

The hotel offers a range of practical amenities: free high-speed Wi-Fi in all areas, free private on-site parking (reservation required), and a 24-hour front desk. Services include concierge, currency exchange, express check-in/out, and luggage storage. A business centre with fax/photocopying and meeting/banquet facilities (additional charge) is available. Daily housekeeping, laundry and dry cleaning (fee), and a minimarket on site are provided. Accessibility features include wheelchair-accessible rooms, a lift, and grab rails in the bathroom. The hotel has a 24-hour security, smoke alarms, and a safety deposit box.
