PALLADINI ROME, Rome

The hostel is just a 3-minute walk from Termini, where airport shuttle buses (€7), metro lines A and B, and regional trains connect across the city. Rome's historic centre, including the Colosseum (20 min on foot), Trevi Fountain (25 min), and Spanish Steps, is easily reachable. Numerous restaurants and markets such as Mercato Centrale Roma (0.5 km) are nearby. While the immediate area around the station can be less busy at night, the hostel is on a quiet street with 24-hour security providing a safe entry.

Rooms range from mixed and female-only dormitories (4-8 beds) to private double, twin, triple, quadruple, and family rooms. Some rooms have private bathrooms with walk-in showers and hairdryers; others share facilities on the floor. Each bed comes with a reading light and power socket. Bunk beds are metal and can be squeaky; lower bunks have limited headroom. Soundproofing is minimal - noise from corridors and the karaoke lounge can carry. Room sizes are generally spacious. Air conditioning is available in all rooms. Towels, shampoo, and soap are not provided - plan accordingly.

Palladini Rome does not have a restaurant or breakfast service. If breakfast is selected during booking, it is provided at a nearby partner venue (10 minutes' walk). The shared kitchen is open 24/7 and equipped for self-catering, with vending machines for drinks and snacks available on site. The surrounding streets offer numerous affordable restaurants and trattorias within a few minutes' walk.

The hostel runs free karaoke nights several times per week, along with organised pub crawls, segway tours, and wine and movie nights. A shared lounge with TV, a games room, and a designated smoking area provide additional common space. Walking tours (additional charge) and party nights are offered daily. There are no wellness facilities such as a pool, spa, or gym.

Services include daily housekeeping, free ironing, and a tour desk that can arrange visits and activities. Luggage storage is free before check-in and €5 after check-out. Laundry is available (cost advised at check-in). Safety features: 24-hour security, CCTV, key card access, and lockers (bring a padlock). The lift provides access to upper floors. Payment is by major credit cards or cash; a €5 cash deposit is required for the room key. No pets allowed.
