FOUR SEASONS ON THE GULF, Galveston

Four Seasons on the Gulf sits on the main coastal road of Galveston Island, across the street from the beach. Pleasure Pier is 2 km away, Moody Gardens is a 7-minute drive, and Schlitterbahn Waterpark is 6 km away. Gaido's, Nick's Kitchen and Beach Bar, and several other restaurants and daiquiri shops are within a 5-minute walk. The trolley stops directly outside, making it easy to reach downtown without a car. The location is central for exploring the island, but the 4-lane Seawall road produces constant traffic noise, especially at night.

The two queen-bed bedrooms are both upstairs, each with a private full bathroom. A sofa bed in the downstairs living area sleeps additional guests, and a half-bath is also on the ground floor. The living room includes a sofa, a TV (with Netflix and Hulu streaming, cable only on the downstairs TV), and sliding doors to the patio. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, stovetop, refrigerator, dishes, cookware, and a coffee maker. Air conditioning, heating, and ceiling fans are provided. Some units have been updated, while others retain older fixtures, worn furniture, and dated bedding; asking for a renovated unit (such as #9) is strongly recommended. Windows and sliding doors are not well sealed, letting in Seawall traffic noise throughout the night. Mattress firmness varies; many are described as very soft or worn.

There is no restaurant or breakfast service at the property. The fully equipped kitchen (with stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and cookware) makes meal prep straightforward. A BBQ grill is available in the playground area, and a picnic area with outdoor furniture is on site. Several well-regarded restaurants are within a 5-minute walk along the Seawall, including Gaido's Seafood Restaurant, Nick's Kitchen and Beach Bar, and Joe's Crab Shack. For groceries, a Kroger and a Walmart are a short drive away.

The outdoor pool is open from May through October, with shallow end and sun loungers. It is fenced and operates daily from 11:00 to 21:00. The pool is not heated. During the winter season (November through April) the pool is closed, and no hot tub is available. The beach is directly across the street, giving convenient access to the Gulf. A children's playground and a picnic area with BBQ facilities are also on the property. No spa or wellness centre is on site.

Each reservation includes two free on-site parking passes; additional passes are $20 per day and must be reserved. Accessible parking is available. Check-in is handled via text message one hour before arrival, where a door code is provided. A physical office is on site (open until 18:00) for in-person issues. Express check-in/check-out and an external lockbox are available. Wi-Fi is provided but requires an additional fee and may be unreliable in some units. No cruise parking, airport shuttle, or conference room are available. Laundry service can be arranged for an extra fee, and there are laundromats in the area. Only the downstairs TV has cable; the upstairs TVs operate exclusively with streaming apps (Netflix/Hulu) and require personal accounts. No washing machine or dryer is in the villas.
