FUNWAY ACADEMIC RESORT (ADULTS ONLY), Madrid

The nearest metro, Tetuán (Line 1), connects directly to central Madrid and Chamartín station in under 20 minutes. The area is residential and quiet at night, with a range of bars, supermarkets, and eateries along the high street. Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is a 15-minute walk, making it ideal for event-goers. Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 11 km away - a 15-minute taxi ride or quick metro transfer. Nearby restaurants include Bar El Minuto (0.5 km) and several Indian, Spanish, and Nepali options within 0.5 km.

The property offers double rooms and a suite with garden views. The hanging bed is space-saving but may feel unstable and is best suited for single occupancy or one-night stays. Some rooms have a balcony or patio. All rooms are soundproofed, though internal noise from neighbouring rooms can be heard. The geothermal heating and cooling system means you cannot control the temperature individually - in summer the rooms can become uncomfortably warm. Bathrooms are modern but compact, with a walk-in shower (suite) or standard shower. Daily housekeeping is provided, but reportedly towels and toilet paper may not always be replenished without a request. A portable fan can be requested from reception.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. The front desk is staffed 24/7 and can assist with check-in after midnight, taxi booking, and general queries. Luggage storage is free - useful for early arrivals or late departures. A business centre, meeting rooms, and fax/photocopying are available at an additional cost. Laundry, dry cleaning, and ironing service are also charged separately. The property is adults only and has a lift, accessible parking, and designated smoking areas. Safety features include CCTV, key card access, and smoke alarms. No pets are allowed.
