GAMBERO APARTMENTS, Rome

Major landmarks such as the Trevi Fountain are within a 5-10 minute walk. The area is safe, with numerous restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby. For airport transfers, a paid shuttle can be arranged, and taxis are easy to find. The central position means most attractions can be reached without public transport, but a metro station is also close for longer journeys.

Gambero Apartments offers multiple apartment types: studios for two, one-bedroom units with a sofa bed for four, a two-bedroom apartment for four, and a three-bedroom unit for seven. All units include a private bathroom, kitchenette (with stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and cookware), seating area, flat-screen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, and tea/coffee facilities. Some apartments feature exposed-beam ceilings or a private terrace. Room configurations and sizes vary significantly by unit. The building has a lift, though some apartments require climbing a few steps. Rooms described as attic spaces may have very low sloping ceilings; light sleepers may prefer units facing the courtyard, as some street-facing windows have ordinary glazing.

There is no restaurant or bar on site. Each apartment is equipped with a full kitchenette, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. Breakfast can be arranged at a local restaurant; availability should be confirmed at booking. The surrounding neighbourhood offers an excellent selection of restaurants, cafés, and food shops within a short walk, providing plenty of alternatives for dining out.

Wi-Fi is free throughout. The building has a lift (accessible after a few stairs). Luggage storage can be arranged in the office if you arrive before check-in or need to leave bags after check-out. A paid airport shuttle can be booked directly. Reception is not staffed around the clock; check-in is by appointment between 14:00 and 19:00, and late arrivals incur a €25 fee. The property is non-smoking throughout. Accepted payment methods include Visa and MasterCard. A baby cot can be provided on request. Weekly housekeeping is included, with linen and towel changes at the same interval. A laundry room is available for guest use.
