GENERATOR PARIS, Paris

The hotel sits on a lively street with direct metro access to Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est in under 10 minutes, making it ideal for train travellers. The Canal Saint Martin area offers numerous bars, restaurants, and vintage shops within a 5-minute walk. Buttes-Chaumont Park is 700 metres away. Public transport is excellent: metro line 2 across the street, plus bus routes. While the immediate vicinity feels local and busy, the area around the canal is vibrant and safe during the day. For airport access, take RER B from Gare du Nord (12 minutes on foot or one metro stop) for both CDG and Orly.

Private rooms include air conditioning, heating, a private bathroom with shower (some with bathtub), towels, toiletries, hairdryer, and a double or queen bed. Some deluxe rooms have a private terrace and a view of Sacré-Cœur. Dormitories offer bunk beds with a personal light, USB charging port, shelf, and under-bed locker. Female-only dorms are available on request. In-room bathrooms have a separate toilet and shower. Upper floors are accessible by lift. Rooms are generally spacious for the category, though some may feel compact in the private double. Air conditioning is present but may not be strong enough in summer. Rooms facing the street can have noise from traffic, especially on lower floors. The plastic mattress covers and hard pillows are common across all room types. Guests supply their own padlock for the under-bed locker, or it can be purchased at reception.

Breakfast is a standard continental buffet including bread, pastries, cereal, yogurt, and hot drinks. For a fuller hot breakfast, a paid menu with eggs and bacon is available. Café Fabien offers meals throughout the day, with a bar serving drinks and a DJ in the evening. The restaurant provides special diet menus on request (halal, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free). Packed lunches can be arranged. Vending machines with drinks and snacks are available 24/7, and a microwave is accessible. Outside food and drink are not permitted in common areas. The surrounding streets have many restaurants within 300 metres, including French, European, and Asian options.

The rooftop bar offers a panoramic view of Paris including Sacré-Cœur, and hosts events like karaoke on Mondays. Indoor leisure includes a shared lounge with a North African design, games room with billiards and table tennis. Bicycle rental is available at €15 per day. Happy hour and karaoke are offered (additional charges may apply). The property has a terrace for outdoor relaxation. Board games and puzzles are available for families or groups.
