GITE DU VIEUX LYON, Lyon

The apartment is ideally situated in central Lyon, offering a 10-minute walk to the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourvière and less than 1 km to the Museum of Fine Arts. Lyon Perrache Train Station is nearby, while Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport is 31 km away. Several restaurants and dining options are within 0.5 km, and an ice-skating rink is also located in the surroundings. The central location makes it easy to explore on foot or use the tram stop outside for car-free city access.

The apartment sleeps two and features one separate bedroom and one bathroom with a walk-in shower. Access to the bed is via a steep, fixed ladder to a mezzanine level. The living room includes a dining area and tiled floors. The kitchenette is well-equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, oven, and coffee machine. The apartment has an inner courtyard view. Given its extremely small size, the space is best suited for short stays or travellers who prioritise location over living space. The interior shows signs of age, and the building retains a medieval character with narrow corridors and steep spiral stairs.

The kitchenette is fitted with a stovetop, refrigerator, oven, electric kettle, and kitchenware, ideal for preparing simple meals. A coffee machine is also provided. For dining out, several restaurants are located within 0.5 km, including Au comptoir les gones, Restaurant Un Deux Trois, Les Paves de Saint Jean, and others. The hosts can provide restaurant recommendations to help you choose.

Wi-Fi is available in the room and free of charge. The property offers a 24-hour front desk and provides an invoice. Public parking is available nearby for free, but reservation is not possible. The apartment is non-smoking throughout. The hosts are communicative via pre-set messages and provide local tips, but are not physically present on site. The apartment's compact size means that storage for luggage is limited, and the building's old condition and stair access can be challenging for those with heavy bags.
