APPART HOTEL AVY BAUDELAIRE - LYON BELLECOUR, Lyon

This central location puts most key attractions within an easy walk, including Place Bellecour and the Old Town, with a supermarket on the corner and many restaurants within 300 metres. The area is well-served by tram and metro, giving direct connections to the airport train and the wider city. The lively street outside brings ambient noise at night, so street-facing rooms are less restful without double glazing.

Rooms are described as spacious and comfortable, with a seating area, dining table, and electric kettle. Some units have a private bathroom with a shower; however, several showers lack a hook or support for the handset. The third bed is a sofa suitable only for a child, not an adult. Bed comfort varies widely - some find the beds comfortable, others report poor quality. Street-facing rooms on lower floors can suffer from outside noise, while courtyard-facing rooms are quieter.

Each studio includes a kitchen with cookware, utensils, and an electric kettle, ideal for preparing meals. A fresh pastry shop is within 50 metres, and the surrounding streets hold numerous restaurants, bars, and a supermarket for groceries. The property does not provide breakfast, but the location makes sourcing food easy.

The property does not offer a pool, spa, gym, or other recreational amenities. The central location provides easy access to the city's parks, cultural sites, and pedestrian areas for leisure activities.

Daily housekeeping is free but not automatic - request at reception if needed. Express check-in/out and private check-in are available, and a host may meet you on arrival. Pets are allowed for a possible surcharge. Key access is provided via a secure key box, but some checks-in require collecting keys from a partner hotel 20 minutes on foot. The property has CCTV, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers.
