GOODENOUGH COLLEGE - UNIVERSITY RESIDENCE, London

The college sits on a quiet square in Bloomsbury, right next to Mecklenburgh Square Garden, making it surprisingly peaceful for central London. Russell Square Underground Station (Piccadilly line) is a 6-minute walk, and King's Cross St Pancras (for Eurostar, national rail, and six Tube lines) can be reached in about 10-15 minutes on foot. The British Museum, Theatre Royal Drury Lane, and the British Library are all within a 15- to 20-minute walk. Bus routes serve the area directly, and bike-sharing stations are located just outside the building. Many supermarkets (Tesco, Waitrose) and a wide range of restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops are within a 5- to 10-minute walk, making it easy to shop for groceries or grab a meal without relying on public transport.

The college's restaurant, situated in the impressive, wood-panelled Great Hall, serves international cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals are purchased individually (not included in the room rate), and are considered good value for central London. There is a snack bar, a coffee house on site, and a kid-friendly buffet with children's meals available. Special diet menus can be requested. The surrounding area offers countless cafés, pubs, and restaurants within a few minutes' walk, including numerous artisan coffee shops and a 24-hour mini-market.

The college does not have a swimming pool, spa, or wellness centre. For relaxation, there is an inner courtyard garden and a rooftop terrace with seating and views over London, both accessible only to residents. The quiet square and surrounding parks provide a pleasant area for walks.
