GUEST HOUSE EXITO EN MADRID, Madrid

Éxito en Madrid is in the very centre of Madrid, right on Gran Vía. Plaza Mayor is 600 metres away, the Prado Museum is 2 km, and the Royal Palace is a 15-minute walk. Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport is 13 km away; the Callao metro stop is directly outside, providing easy connections to Atocha station. The location is exceptionally walkable for most major sights, restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Road-facing rooms experience considerable noise from traffic, especially on weekends, while rooms facing the inner courtyard offer a quieter stay.

Accommodation ranges from single to quadruple rooms, each with a private bathroom and some with a balcony overlooking Gran Vía or Callao Square. The Quadruple Room (Exitazo) offers the best city views. Rooms include a work desk, heating, and air conditioning (confirmed to be working). There is no TV or in-room kettle, but a shared coffee machine is available in the reception area. Some rooms are located directly opposite the reception desk and have thin sliding doors, significantly reducing privacy and increasing noise from the entrance and coffee machine. Rooms with city-facing windows let in substantial street noise and light from billboards, as some windows lack blackout curtains. Bathrooms are noted for being compact, with the toilet often very close to the wall. The building has a lift, though it is shared with other offices and can be busy, particularly when the main lift is out of service.

The guest house provides complimentary hot drinks (coffee, tea, chocolate) around the clock from a machine in the lobby, which is a valued convenience for many. Pastries or muffins are occasionally offered in the morning. There is no restaurant or bar on site, but the location on Gran Vía places you steps away from dozens of dining options, including Five Guys, Gourmet Experience Gran Vía, and several sky bars such as Ella Sky Bar Madrid and Gymage Terrace, all within a 0.5 km radius.

The guest house does not feature a gym, pool, or spa. For leisure, guests can request board games and puzzles at reception. The rooftop terrace on the 9th floor of the building provides a communal space with city views, though it is not a private hotel facility.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. The 24-hour front desk provides concierge and tour desk services, and staff are consistently helpful with maps and recommendations. Daily housekeeping is included and towels are changed each day. Luggage storage is free and available before check-in and after check-out, which is particularly useful for late flights. A lift serves the upper floors; however, there are three small steps to access it. An iron is available on request, and a cot can be provided for babies. The property is non-smoking throughout and has CCTV in common areas for security. Accepted payment methods include major credit cards and cash.
