HAMBURG APART, Hamburg

The property stands on a busy six-lane street, so rooms facing the road are subject to persistent traffic noise, including heavy vehicles and sirens. Despite the thoroughfare, the U-Bahn station Wartenau is only 3 minutes away on foot, offering quick connections to the main station (10 minutes) and the city centre. Several restaurants, a bakery, and an Aldi supermarket are within a 2-minute walk. Hamburg Airport is 9 km away. Car access is not recommended due to the lack of on-site parking and the difficulty of finding street parking nearby.

All rooms feature a carpeted floor, heating, a desk, a flat-screen TV, bed linen, and towels. Room types include single (1 bed), double (1 bed), and quadruple (2 beds) options. There is no private bathroom; each floor has one shared bathroom (shower, toilet, sink) for around six rooms, which means queues are possible at peak times. The rooms are compact with minimal storage (no wardrobe), so living out of a suitcase is common. Some rooms lack curtains, reducing privacy and allowing early morning light. While daily room cleaning is provided, the shared bathrooms may not be refreshed between each use.

Wi-Fi is available throughout and free of charge. Express check-in/out and private check-in/out are offered. A notable operational detail: the check-in location is at a partner hotel near the main station (address provided after booking), not at the accommodation itself - keys must be collected there before proceeding. Luggage storage is available for early arrival or late departure. There is no lift; rooms are on higher floors (up to the 4th) accessible only by stairs. No additional services such as laundry, room service, or a 24-hour reception are present. Accepted payment methods include major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB, Maestro, Bankcard, EC-Card) and an additional cash fee at check-in.
