Despite being on Times Square, the street is quieter than the main square, and upper-floor rooms are notably quiet. Several major restaurants - Hard Rock Cafe, Carmine's, Olive Garden - are within a 5-minute walk.

All rooms include air conditioning, a tea and coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board, safe, and a large flat-screen TV with streaming options. The thermostat is centrally locked, and the air conditioning unit cycles loudly on and off every few minutes, which can disrupt sleep. Walk-in showers with good water pressure are standard. Rooms at the front of the hotel can get street noise, while upper floors are quieter. The layout leaves limited space for luggage - suitcases often need to be placed on the bed or in the narrow entry corridor. Rooms with two double beds can accommodate up to four adults, but space becomes very tight. City or landmark views are available; the most reliable landmark views are on the highest floors.
