Deep Ellum is 500 metres away, offering live music and dining, while the Dallas Convention Center is a 700-metre walk. Interstate 30, I-35E, and US 75 provide easy road access. Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is a 20-minute drive, and Love Field is 9 km away. Public transportation is available via the nearby train station. However, the immediate area has a noticeable homeless population, and constant traffic noise is present. Those planning late-night outings should arrange transport rather than walk.

The property offers a variety of room types, including king rooms with showers and 2-queen suites with a living area (note: no separate bedroom door). All rooms feature air conditioning, heating, ironing facilities, and a tea/coffee maker. Corner rooms provide extra windows and city views. Decor may feel dated, and some furniture shows signs of wear. Beds are generally comfortable, though some may find them too firm. Daily housekeeping is not automatic; request it at the front desk. No rooms have balconies. In-room safes are not available, but small safes can be used at the front desk. The hotel is non-smoking throughout.
