ANAHEIM MAJESTIC GARDEN HOTEL, Anaheim

The hotel is situated on Ball Road, directly across from the Disneyland Resort, making it a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute shuttle ride to the park entrances. The free shuttle service runs from one hour before park opening until one hour and 15 minutes after closing, with stops at the main entrance. For those arriving by car, the hotel is easily accessible from the freeway, though rooms facing the freeway may experience traffic noise. The Fullerton Amtrak station is the nearest train connection. Nearby attractions include HG Miller Golf Course (6 km) and Bowers Museum (9 km). The surrounding area offers a variety of dining options, including many within walking distance in Downtown Disney.

Breakfast is available for purchase at the Garden Court Bistro, which serves a buffet ($21.95 adult, $14.95 child) or a la carte options. The buffet is offered Thursday through Sunday mornings; other days, the bistro serves a full breakfast menu from 6:30 to 11:00 AM. The deli provides quick breakfast items like sandwiches and burritos, as well as snacks and drinks throughout the day. For dinner, the bistro serves American cuisine and cocktails, while Hanagi Japanese Restaurant offers sushi and Japanese dishes (Tuesday-Sunday, 5:00-10:00 PM). A bar and lounge is also on site. While the food is adequate, some find the pricing high; the deli is a convenient option for families looking to save. The restaurant and bar are popular for post-park relaxation.

The outdoor swimming pool is heated and open year-round from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, with a shallow end, sun loungers, and umbrellas. The hot tub is also free for guests. The fitness center is equipped with cardio machines and free weights. The games room features billiards and arcade games, though some equipment is dated. The hotel also hosts movie nights, live sport events, and themed dinner nights. Seasonal decorations (Christmas, Halloween) and special events like princess storytelling add to the family-friendly atmosphere. The gardens include a koi pond and resident ducks, providing a peaceful retreat. The Disneyland fireworks can be viewed from the parking lot and pool area.

The hotel provides 24-hour front desk service, luggage storage (free), and a safety deposit box. An ATM and currency exchange are on site. The business center offers free Wi-Fi, though the connection can be slow (1 Mbps); a paid upgrade to 20 Mbps is available. Meeting and banquet facilities are available for an additional charge. Laundry services (coin-operated self-service) are available, as well as dry cleaning and ironing. The hotel is wheelchair accessible with elevators, accessible parking, and ADA-compliant rooms and shuttle. EV charging stations are available (10 spots). Pets are allowed (dogs and cats) for a fee of $100-$150 per stay; pets must not be left unattended. Smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas. The property has a minimarket and vending machines for snacks and drinks.
