HAWTHORN SUITES LAS VEGAS, Las Vegas

The hotel is located between Las Vegas and Henderson, just off the Boulder Highway, about 25-30 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip and 25 minutes from McCarran International Airport. Mystic Lodge Casino and Sports Book is directly next door. Freeway access is convenient for reaching downtown Henderson, Las Vegas attractions, and the T-Mobile Arena (30 minutes). Nearby dining includes several fast-food options within a short walk, and a gas station with a shop is adjacent to the parking lot. The surrounding area has some homeless presence; the back of the hotel has poor lighting and can feel unsafe at night.

All rooms are studio-style without separate bedrooms, featuring air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a private bathroom with a bathtub or shower, and a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and tea/coffee maker. Deluxe and Executive rooms add a full kitchen with a stove upon availability. The property is older and shows signs of wear: carpets in hallways and many rooms are stained, furniture is dated, and maintenance issues such as dripping faucets, faulty TV remotes, and noisy bathroom fans are common. Some rooms have a lingering musty or smoky smell. Bed comfort is generally reported as good, and towels are clean. Rooms on the third floor may have a musty odor. Rooms away from the road tend to be quieter, but noise from dogs in adjacent rooms is possible.

The indoor heated swimming pool and hot tub are available 24 hours a day, making them convenient for evening or late-night use. The area is a popular feature for families, and the hot tub is often appreciated after a day exploring. Keep in mind that the pool has been reported closed for maintenance periodically, so it's wise to confirm availability before booking if this is a key amenity. The 24-hour fitness centre is available but equipment may not always be in working order. The adjacent Mystic Lodge Casino and Sports Book offers gaming and sports viewing, and there is a minimart on site.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel (charges may apply). Free public parking is available on site with no reservation needed. The 24-hour front desk provides express check-in/out and luggage storage. Pets are allowed for a fee of $25 per night per pet. Daily housekeeping is included, and laundry service is available for an additional charge. The business centre offers fax, photocopying, and meeting/banquet facilities. The hotel is non-smoking with designated outdoor smoking areas. Accessibility features include accessible parking and one room with a roll-in shower in addition to tub/shower combos with grab bars. There is no lift at the main entrance, making it difficult to bring luggage in without assistance. The elevator has been reported as unreliable.
