Paral*lel metro station (L3) is 300 metres away, connecting directly to the city centre, Las Ramblas and the airport via the Aerobús stop at Plaça d'Espanya. The immediate area is lively with pintxo bars, tapas restaurants and supermarkets on Blai Street, while Montjuïc Park, the Magic Fountain and the MNAC are within a 15-20 minute walk. Barcelona El Prat Airport is 12 km away - the airport bus (Aerobús) to Plaça d'Espanya with a short metro ride is the most practical transfer option.

The twin/double room features air conditioning, heating, a balcony and a private bathroom with a shower. Dormitories are compact and bunk-bedded. The building has a lift. Some rooms have windows that can be opened for ventilation, but noise from nearby bars and the street, as well as from metal bunk beds and lockers, can affect sleep quality. Earplugs are advisable. Curtains are provided on some beds for privacy, but not all.

The self-catering kitchen is well equipped and includes a microwave, cookers and utensils. Free coffee is available from 7:30 to 11:00. A vending machine offers drinks and snacks. Blai Street, right outside, has a dense concentration of inexpensive tapas bars and pintxo spots, ideal for an evening meal. The hostel is also close to several supermarkets and cheap restaurants such as Koska Taverna and Blai 9.

The rooftop terrace provides seating and charging points, and is used for evening social events. A solarium is available. Board games are on offer, and pub crawls are organised from the hostel, providing a social option for solo travellers. The common lounge has a TV and shared seating.
