K HOTEL KENSINGTON, London

The hotel sits on Cromwell Road in Kensington, a safe and elegant district. Gloucester Road Underground Station is a 5-minute walk, providing Piccadilly (direct to Heathrow, 40 mins), District, and Circle lines. The Natural History Museum, V&A, and Science Museum are all under 15 minutes on foot. Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens are about a 20-minute walk. Harrods and Knightsbridge shops are 20-25 minutes away by foot. Numerous restaurants, a large Waitrose supermarket, and bus stops are steps from the door. Travellers arriving via Gatwick should take a train to London Victoria, then the Circle or District line to Gloucester Road.

Room types include Single, Double, Twin, and Family rooms (for 3 or 4 persons with two double beds). All rooms have private bathrooms, air conditioning, heating, in-room safes, and daily housekeeping. Some rooms feature modern art and designer furniture, while a few have private balconies. Room sizes are compact by London standards: single rooms can feel very small, and double rooms may lack space for two open suitcases. Rooms on the back of the building are quieter; those facing Cromwell Road can experience traffic noise. Basement rooms offer minimal natural light and a view of a light shaft. Beds are typically comfortable but some double beds are narrow (approx. 120 cm). No interconnecting rooms, but adjoining rooms can be allocated along the same corridor upon request.

The breakfast buffet includes scrambled eggs, sausages, beans, mushrooms, hash browns, pastries, fruit, toast, tea, coffee, and juice. All hot meat items are halal (chicken sausages, turkey bacon). Gluten-free options are available with prior notice. The breakfast room is modern and spacious. The hotel does not have a restaurant for lunch or dinner; however, numerous cafés, takeaways, and sit-down restaurants are within a short walk, including Thai Taste, La Pergola, and Cast Iron Bar & Grill. No spa or swimming pool is available.
