HILTON GARDEN INN TAMPA AIRPORT/WESTSHORE, Tampa

The hotel sits across the street from Tampa International Airport, making arrivals and departures exceptionally easy. The complimentary 24-hour on-demand shuttle covers airport transfers but does not extend to Raymond James Stadium (5-minute drive), cruise port (15-20 minutes), or Busch Gardens (20-25 minutes). For those destinations, taxis, Uber, or Lyft are readily available. The area is not pedestrian-friendly for aimless walking, but several dining options such as World of Beer and Popeyes are half a kilometre away. The property is well-placed for business travellers attending meetings in the Westshore district and for sports fans visiting the stadium.

All guest rooms feature a seating area with a sofa bed and a large work desk. Each room includes a 32-inch flat-screen cable TV with HBO, free Wi-Fi, a microwave, and a coffee maker. Suites offer separate living and sleeping areas with a kitchenette and two TVs. A limited number of wheelchair-accessible rooms have walk-in showers and visual strobe alarms. Rooms have no balconies. Some units are adjoining via an internal door, which may result in noise transfer from the neighbouring room. On higher floors, some rooms have views of the airport runway but remain quiet due to soundproofing. The property has undergone renovation, with updated rooms noted for being clean and comfortable.

The on-site Coast Kitchen & Bar offers American dishes for breakfast and lunch, including made-to-order options such as avocado toast, steak bowls, and grouper piccata. Breakfast is available for an additional charge of US$16. The bar/lounge area has an outdoor patio and provides a range of drinks, with many visitors praising the friendly service. A 24-hour convenience store stocks snacks, beverages, and sundries. Several casual dining options are within a half-mile walk, including World of Beer, Popeyes, and Olive Garden.
