HIPOTEL PARIS BASTILLE SAINT ANTOINE, Paris

The hotel is in a lively, well-connected part of central Paris, with several metro and bus lines within a 2-minute walk, making it easy to reach major attractions and both airports. Gare de Lyon train station is a 10-minute walk away, providing direct rail and RER access. The immediate area is packed with restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, and a popular bar with a terrace directly below the hotel. While this makes the location vibrant and practical for dining and shopping, the street-level bar generates noise until late at night, particularly affecting lower-floor and street-facing rooms. The neighbourhood is generally safe and well-lit, even for late-night walks. No on-site parking is available; paid public parking can be found nearby.

The rooms are compact and functional, with a private bathroom (toilet and shower) and essential furniture: a wardrobe or closet, desk, and socket near the bed. Some rooms have a private balcony or windows offering views of the city, including the Eiffel Tower from upper floors. Amenities include free toiletries, towels, and a hairdryer. The property has no air conditioning, which can make rooms uncomfortably hot in summer, and soundproofing is limited, with noise from neighbouring rooms, plumbing, and the street below often audible. Narrow spiral stairs connecting all 6 floors can be challenging with luggage. Rooms vary in condition; some have been reported as older, with visible wear, mould in bathrooms, or broken fittings. For a low-budget stay in a prime location, the accommodation is best suited to travellers who plan to be out most of the day and primarily need a bed and a secure place to sleep.

The hotel provides a 24-hour front desk with staff available around the clock, which is especially useful for late arrivals or early departures. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Luggage storage is offered free of charge at reception, allowing guests to explore the city before check-in or after check-out. Daily housekeeping is available but comes at an additional charge. Other services include express check-in/out, wake-up calls, and concierge assistance. The property is non-smoking throughout and features soundproofed rooms, with 24-hour security including smoke alarms and fire extinguishers. No elevator is available - only stairs. A deposit is required at check-in. Pets are not permitted.
